Below are instructions for changing the dialup phone number for common internet diallers. For a full list of CIA Dialup numbers please refer to our Points of Presence page

Windows 95/98

1. Open Dial-Up Networking:
   • Double click on My Computer
   • Double click on Dial-Up Networking
2. Right-click on your CIA Connection icon and choose Properties
3. Type in the new number in the "Telephone Number" box
4. Click OK - that's it!

1. Open Dial-Up Networking:
   • Double click on My Computer
   • Double click on Dial-Up Networking
2. Make sure your CIA connection is selected from the "Phonebook entry to dial" drop-down menu
3. Click on the "More" button and choose "Edit Entry and Modem Properties"
4. Type in the new number in the "Phone Number" box
5. Click OK - that's it!

Open Transport PPP Dialler

1. Choose the Apple Menu and then Control Panels
2. Choose PPP from the Control Panels
3. Simply change the number to dial in the "Number" box

1. Click on your FreePPP menu, and choose Open FreePPP Setup
2. Make sure the small blue triangle at the bottom left is pointing down to open the settings
3. Click on the Accounts tab
4. Make sure your CIA connection is highlighted, and choose Edit
5. Simply change the number to dial in the "Phone number" box
6. Click OK - that's it!
